Amazon organizes an event to kick off summer sales

Amazon hasn’t declared a date during the current year’s Prime Day, however, the online mega-retailer is arranging another huge shopping occasion this month.

“The Big Style Sale” will happen at some point in the not so distant future and “include seasonally-relevant deals from both established and smaller fashion brands,” an Amazon representative disclosed to FOX Business.

Typically, Amazon would prepare for its huge Prime Day occasion, which sees the site move considerably more merchandise than Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Be that as it may, the coronavirus has disturbed business around the globe, and The Wall Street Journal detailed a month ago that Amazon is rather looking at the fall for the occasion that it regularly holds in mid-July.

A year ago’s 48-hour Prime Day was Amazon’s biggest to date, with more than 175 million things sold, as per Amazon. The organization even threw a Prime Day concert featured by Taylor Swift – and accessible to stream on its Prime Video platform – to celebrate the event.

Prime Day has become so large that even competitors like Target and eBay scheduled sales around a similar time a year ago.

Amazon didn’t determine the extent of its Big Style Sale, however, it likely won’t arrive at a similar level as Prime Day.

“We are delighted to help brands connect with our vast global customer base for this event,” the Amazon spokesperson said.
